Level Up Introduces Danal Direct Carrier Billing

May 6, 2015 by Mobile Payment Magazine

LevelUp, a mobile loyalty and payment platform, and Danal, a provider of mobile commerce and mobile identity solutions, announced today that LevelUp has added Danal’s Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) service to LevelUp’s payment options.

In partnership with one of the Top Tier US Carriers, LevelUp and Danal are offering a completely mobile way to make in-store purchases through carrier billing integrated with LevelUp.

According to the company, with a single tap, tens of millions of US mobile subscribers can link their carrier bill to LevelUp, head to any of the 14,000 merchants in the LevelUp ecosystem, and pay for their purchase. Customers who choose to pay for purchases with carrier billing, also get +10% on any rewards unlocked on LevelUp.

“With a modern payment infrastructure, there’s no reason to be restricted to just the old-world of plastic payment methods,” said Seth Priebatsch, CEO at LevelUp. “So today we’re excited to go one step further.”
